Breaking the rules photos.

These are the photos i took for the breaking the rules assignment and the photos that i used for my other 3 assignments.

Acrylic Lift Assignment #1

This is a photo of the acrylic lift i did with a photo i took.
i put 9 layers of acrylic gel medium onto it.
The photo i used originally was a photo of breaking the rules of a forest that is not entirely in focus and is sideways.
The photo change when i applied the gel medium to it in several ways. The photo darkened when i applied the gel and the end result was the photo.
The photo produced little clear spaces in certain spots due to the gel medium. the acrylic lift is very thin for some reason and is very stretchy. there are a few rips that i tried to prevent but couldnt.
i enjoyed doing this assignment and am very pleased with the end result

Proper Studio Lighting Three Images

What i tried to accomplish with this photo was to make my model look suspiscious and i also tried to make my model looknlike he was looking off at something and also thinking. with the lighting of this photot i tried to make the lighting dim and more light on one side to give the effect of darkness or suspiscion
What i tried to accompish with taking this photo was to make my model look sophisticated and confident. I had him take the pose he was taking to make him look big and to almost give an aroara of power arouund him. with the lighting in this photo i made it more dim towards thee right but i put most of the light directly on him and i use the gold side of the light reflecting disk and i aimed it above his head to give an aluminescent glow to him to give him more power.
what i tried to accomplish with this photo was to give my model a dumbfounded look and i also put the light to the left and left the right side of him dark to give it a unique look.

the canera i used for this assignment was the nikon school camera that is given to us the shutter speed i used was 1/60 on manual. 15-200mm focus

Painting With Light

for this image i used the nikon school camera that we are given, the aperture speed i used was a 30second exposure time and the lens i used was an 18-55mm camera lens. what i was trying to do with this photo was give it a dark look so i took red tissue paper and covered the light i used to make it red and i incoporated shadows, devils horns and everything else to portray my idea. My inspiration for this was whenever i look at old photos, dark themed photos it interests me so i tried to make my photo look like that.

Someone Who Inspires Me

This photo inspires me because the photographer fully diplays nature through this photo. It was taken be Ilkka Halso. The way he took this photo and the way he lined it up so that the loop shows right in the background stands out to me making this photo a favourite of mine. I like Ilkka Halsos work because all of his work is extremely unique with with the most impossible angles and amazing nature scenes. His work inspires me to be better at photography and to find the perfect shot depicting the way i feel about nature and photography.

Chad Ryan - Name Banner

I took my photos for this project using mostly trees because it gives it more of a naturistic look and makes it look more unique i would mostly like to take my photos outside and have a naturistic theme because taking photos of nature interests me the most about photography. I want to continue photographing nature and i want to find new ways to show it off.
